    • How can we reduce it – technologies and best practices.
  • 10.55 – 11.15 Open session to discuss the possible local strategies and examples of good practices to reduce CO2 footprint in buildings. Sorin Cebotari, weTHINK.
    • Each participant is invited to share their experience – how to get CO2 neutral in construction?
    • 11.15 – 11:25 – Facts and figures on the contribution of concrete roads to CO2-reduction Luc Rens, EUPave.
      • How can concrete roads reduce the CO2 emissions?
      • What other impacts can pavement have on CO2 (fuel consumption, longevity, etc)?
  • 11.25 – 11.45 Open session to discuss strategies to reduce CO2 footprint in infrastructure projects. Sorin Cebotari, weTHINK.
    • Participants will be asked to share their experience with road and other transport infrastructure projects in the region. Is there a strategy accounting for CO2 footprint in their countries?
  • 11:45 – 12.05 – Closing statements and follow-up activities. Sorin Cebotari,  weTHINK.

Moderator

Sorin studied at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where he claimed his Ph.D. in Geography (Sustainable development). Additionally, he has a MA in Political Science which he studied at the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary for.
